Trumptech delightfully participated in the annual education showcase, Learning & Teaching Expo 2021 on 8-10 December. With our all-round education solutions, we endeavour to set STEAM and AI education in motion!
Our solutions aim to develop students with a solid coding foundation through online learning, followed by hands-on projects, competitions and exchange programmes that solidify their learning and broaden their horizons. The solutions are highly recommended programmes for the “Life-wide Learning Grant”, “Knowing More About IT” Programme, and “IT Innovation Lab in Secondary Schools” initiative.
Embrace the new trend of hybrid learning and involve all students in learning to code!
Hybrid learning has become the new normal when the pandemic hit. Steering on this new learning and teaching trend, Trumptech launched CodeN’Sim, a gamified ICT learning platform, to serve STEM learning with wider online and offline possibilities. The platform contains progressive coding missions that are matched with the ICT curriculum of primary and secondary schools.
CodeN’Sim walks students through block-based programming language Scratch, advanced language Python to coding for AI applications. It engages multitudinous students to learn to code online all at once with expenditure of the least resources. Students can also enjoy O2O coding experiences with the use of LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime, allowing them to watch actual feedback and optimise code beyond simulations.
"It would be so much fun if we could learn with this playful set in ICT classes!” said the student visitor. Together with their teachers, they learnt about the platform’s O2O possibilities with the use of LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime.
Students successfully tackled the challenge on the mission map with their coding and problem-solving skills! After a few trial-and-error, they code to command the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime to collect all the coins and open the treasure chest with the best route!
AI Learning that starts with real-life experience and grade-appropriate curriculum
Trumptech joined hands with AI industry giant, SenseTime to launch the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Youth AI Development Centre. We aim to promote AI education as well as to cultivate future AI talents in the GBA. Our exclusive AI education solutions marry the CodeN’Sim platform and the SenseStorm AI robots powered by SenseTime.It tours students from training their AI models to hands-on activities for solving real-life problems. Through applications, students will familiarise themselves with the fundamental AI concepts and rethink the development trends of AI.
Teachers showed interest in the AI education solutions and tried out the “Face Detection Smart Fan”! The fan is triggered as it detects human faces and would speed up if people move further from it!
Let’s have an AI football match! Teachers and students controlled the AI footballers which were programmed to grasp a specific object in a specific colour to shoot!
Explore frameworks to quantify learning and teaching effectiveness
Many teachers are facing the challenges in measuring students’ learning effectiveness. Trumptech is also actively developing frameworks and systems to assist teachers in analysing data and transforming these data into useful insights for fine-tuning their teaching policy.
