The hovercraft competition covers the Speed Challenge, Rescue Challenge and Cargo Lifter Challenge. It requires students to apply STEM knowledge and coding skills to design a hovercraft with effective lifting, thrust and direction control systems that can steer them through the various competition scenarios!
Target:
P4-S3 (Divided into primary and secondary school division)
Team Composition:
A maximum of 4 students in each team
Learn the scientific knowledge of air pressure, force, reaction force to conceive the design of hovercraft
Use micro:bit programming and radio communication to control the hovercraft challenge mission in real time
Design the hull and accessories of the hovercraft by 3D printing and laser cutting technology
The competition is conducted in a points system, all participating teams will receive corresponding points based on the ranking of each challenge.






At the end of the competition comes the Champion,the First Runner-up, the Second Runner-up, the Fastest Hovercraft Award, the Most Flexible Hovercraft Award, the Most Loadable Hovercraft Award, First Class Award, Merit Award and the "My Favorite Hovercraft" Design Award.
