The micro:bit Model Hovercraft Competition offers a series of learning activities, from learning STEM knowledges in gradewide fun day, exchanging insights amongsts teams at the inter-school practice match to competing for awards with their optimised design.

The competition learning and teaching solutions support seamless integration into the curriculum with clear mapping with topics in the guidelines issued by The Education Bureau.

micro:bit Hovercraft Competition 2023-24 Competition Program
Program 1 (1 team): HK$ 6,000
Program 3 (3 teams): HK$ 15,000
Program 5 (5 teams): HK$ 20,000

With a maximum of 4 students in a team, all program consists of the team admission fee, eligibility to join the Joint School Practice Match, the Hovercraft Competition Kit, the BBC micro:bit Starter Kit V2, the Competition Guide, as well as the participation certificates.
